ROMASIA BANK PROMOTES CHRISTINA “TINA” HUNGRIGE
TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – CHIEF LENDING OFFICER
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ (April 29, 2011)…….Peter A. Inverso, chairman of the board of RomAsia Bank, and Dominick Mazzagetti, president and CEO, recently announced the promotion of Christina “Tina” Hungrige to the position of Senior Vice President – Chief Lending Officer, and the appointment of Sandip Patel as New Business Development Officer.
RomAsia Bank first opened its doors in June of 2008 and now has two full-service locations on U.S. Highway 1 in Monmouth Junction and Edison. Hungrige joined RomAsia in 2010 as Vice President-Lending Officer under Senior Vice President Tom O’Donnell, who recently retired after helping grow the customer base and guide the institution to $100 million in deposits. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Patel comes to RomAsia Bank following employ as a personal relationship banker and small business specialist. He also spent several years running his own small business.
“As we work diligently to build strong relationships within the communities we serve, achievement and growth have helped us define our bank,” Mazzagetti said. “We continue to develop a team of very well-respected banking professionals with extensive experience. Tom O’Donnell will be missed, but we are fortunate to transition the leadership of our lending department to Tina Hungrige, while also welcoming Sandip Patel.”
A resident of East Brunswick, Hungrige, who graduated in June of 2010 from the Stonier National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania, says she was attracted to RomAsia’s diverse team of bankers who pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service and banking expertise in a variety of languages. Patel is a resident of Bridgewater, and a licensed notary public, pursuing LAH certification.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to motivate and provide guidance to our wonderful team in the lending department,” Hungrige said. “We are meeting the challenge of more thoroughly understanding and responding to the nuanced needs of our Asian-American communities and Asian-American business owners.”
